SEMESTER DURATION?

After school is divided into two semesters – Fall/Winter, which runs from September to the end of January; Spring, which runs from February to the end of the NYC DOE school year. You must re-register for the next semester to continue the program. You may register for any of our programs at any time (as long as there's a spot available). Your fees are prorated.


SCHOOL CLOSURES?

After school programs do not run on days that the NYC DOE school system is closed (including for bad weather). These closures are factored into our semester fees, thus there is no credit or make-ups for these days. On most DOE holidays, we run day-long Holiday Lab sessions.


DROP-INS?

Our semester programs build upon skills kids acquire through regular attendance. We do not allow drop-ins, except in special cases.


Makeups?

We do offer makeups when given advance notice. Please see individual Program Policy pages for additional details. To request a makeup, please email frontdesk@brooklyngamelab.com


ABSENT?

Please inform us as soon as you know, if your child will miss a session. This is particularly important if your child gets picked up from school by our staff. To inform us, please email frontdesk@brooklyngamelab.com or call 718-788-1122.


RUNNING LATE?

 

If you are running late to pick up your child, please call us at 718-788-1122. We charge a late pickup fee of $15 for pickups that occur after 6:10 pm. This penalty increases to $1 for every minute late after 6:20 pm, unless prior special arrangement has been made.
